Hot Air Balloon Experience

This activity starts at dawn with pick up of our passengers at the meeting point. Next, we go to the launch field and start assembling the balloon. Passengers are invited to collaborate and prepare the balloon for the inflation. Once the balloon inflated, we just leave the earth for a minimum duration of 1 hour flight. The direction is given by the wind. Then we land on an appropriate field and wait for the retrieving vehicle to recover the balloon and the passengers. We come back to the launch field in 4×4, and then we celebrate the experience with a Cava toast and deliver the flying certificates signed by the pilot.

Total Duration

1 morning. The flight itself has an estimated duration between 1 hour and 1 hour and a half. The activity can be done during the week (a minimum of 4 participants is required), all the week-ends, all year long.

Activity’s Time Table

The balloon flights are operated by the mornings only. Meeting time is scheduled between 7:00 and 9:00 AM, according to the season. Pickup in Barcelona city centre is scheduled between 6:00 and 7:30 AM for those who selected the “pickup and transfer from Barcelona” option.

Important : Exact times are confirmed with us the day before the scheduled balloon flight, The activity is very safe but in order not to face any risk to our passengers we don’t recommend the balloon flight to pregnant women and children under age of 6 yo. The activity is weather dependent. The balloon can fly only with slow winds and without rains.

Extra Services / Option 

We offer the following extra services that can be added to our basic formula:

– Pickup and transfer from Barcelona in 4×4 or minibus.
– Typical Catalan lunch in a “masía” restaurant after the balloon flight (for exclusive & groups flights only).
– Moët Champagne toast on board during the balloon ride.

At only 30 minutes away from Barcelona, the flights are operated along the Montseny Natural Park. You will discover from the air amazing panoramas and landscapes. By clear sky, you will have the opportunity to admire the Montserrat Picks, the Mediterranean sea and Barcelona itself.

OVER OSONA / VIC CITY (50MIN FROM BARCELONA)

Situated 50 minutes away from Barcelona, the balloons take off Vic city. Passengers can admire the amazing landscape of Osona area, surrounded by the pre-Pyrenees mountains, Montserrat and Montseny picks. We recommend this area for group flights, as it has a favourable weather condition and enough spaces to operate the activity.
